Local-First Architecture

1. What Information We DO NOT Collect

To ensure complete user safety and privacy:

No Passwords: GrowthPulse never asks for, records, or stores your Instagram account password.
No Exported Session Tokens: We do not export your Instagram session cookies or authentication tokens to external servers.
No Private Messages: We do not read, access, or store your Instagram Direct Messages (DMs).
No Off-Site History: GrowthPulse operates strictly on authorized Instagram web pages and does not track your general browsing activity.

2. Information We Collect and Store Locally

All engagement preferences and operational data are saved locally on your device using Chrome's secure storage (chrome.storage.local):

User Preferences: Your configured target accounts, minimum/maximum likes per lead, and daily quotas.
Pacing Telemetry: Hourly speed maps, cooldown timestamps, and local performance counters.
Lead Buffers: Temporary queues of publicly visible usernames queued for interaction.

3. Account & Commercial Licensing (Whop)

If you purchase a paid license or activate a bonus tier:

License Keys: Validated securely through our merchant partner, Whop Inc. (whop.com).
Email Address: If provided during purchase or receipt requests, your email is used solely for order fulfillment and customer support.
Public Handle: Your connected Instagram username is resolved locally to maintain single-user license validation.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.

External services are strictly limited to necessary infrastructure:

Whop Inc.: Payment processing and license validation.
Google Firebase: Secure remote configuration for engine safety thresholds.

5. Chrome Web Store Permission Disclosures

storage: Saves settings, quotas, and logs locally on your machine.
alarms: Schedules natural, human-paced engagement intervals.
cookies: Validates that you have an active Instagram login before running.
declarativeNetRequest: Ensures consistent network headers for client requests.
scripting & tabs: Interacts with active Instagram tabs to discover creator leads.

Legal Agreement

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using the GrowthPulse extension, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you disagree, you must discontinue use and uninstall the extension.

2. Independent Software & Non-Affiliation

GrowthPulse is an independent third-party tool and is not affiliated with, authorized, or endorsed by Meta Platforms, Inc. or Instagram.

3. User Responsibility & Assumption of Risk

Your use of Instagram remains subject to Instagram's Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.
GrowthPulse provides randomized delays, rest hours, and conservative quota ramping designed to mimic human activity; however, you assume full responsibility for your account activity and settings.
We do not guarantee immunity from action limits, verification checkpoints, or account restrictions by third-party platforms.

4. Subscriptions & Licensing (Whop)

Paid plans (Monthly, Annual, Lifetime) are billed securely through Whop Inc.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled prior to the renewal date via the Whop portal.
Digital license keys are non-refundable once activated and delivered, in accordance with digital goods standards.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties ("AS IS")

GrowthPulse is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. Because social media platforms frequently change their internal web layouts and rate-limits, we do not warrant uninterrupted operation or specific growth metrics.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GrowthPulse and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect damages, loss of business, or any Instagram account actions (including temporary blocks or suspensions) resulting from the use of the extension.
